SIPITRI® 2 Segment Climbing Triangle
A two-segment Pikler-style climbing triangle, without the ramp.
The frame is 82.5 cm wide. Two segments of 68 cm each, hinged together, fold flat against a wall when the triangle isn't in use — useful in a living room where floor space matters. At full extension, the highest rung sits 60 cm off the floor. Rungs are 3 cm thick and 12 cm apart, which is the spacing a small hand can grip confidently without the stretch between rungs becoming a reach.
This is the starting version of the set — a child climbs up one side, crests the top, and descends the other. Add the ramp later (it fits the same frame) when a toddler is ready for a sliding surface or an angled climb.
Birch plywood throughout. Water-based UV varnish; the wood grain shows through. Plastic-free packaging. Max load 50 kg.
From 18 months. The triangle scales with the child — a just-walking toddler hangs on the first rung, a three-year-old traverses the top. Certified to EN 71-1, EN 71-2, EN 71-3, EN 71-8, EN 71-9 · EU Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC · UKCA.
