Baby Nest & Play Mat With Crib Bumper Braid - Vanilla

The same three-piece nest in vanilla — a warm off-white that reads cream in daylight and gold-tinted under lamps. A 100 cm round mat, a 300 cm braided bumper, OEKO-TEX cotton and corduroy, fill of PU foam and silicone beads.

A newborn sleeps in it in the first weeks, the braided frame keeping bedding in soft shape. By three months, the mat is where tummy time happens, with the bumper as a visual horizon. By six months, the bumper is a wall to fall against during sitting practice. By nine, it's been unbraided into a soft edge along the side of a crib, or curled into a fort under a play arch.

Vanilla is the colourway parents tend to pick when they're building a room around the nest rather than fitting it into one. It sits warm against oak cots, rattan baskets, and linen drapes; it photographs like cream in morning light and gold-beige in lamp light.

Each braid is twisted by hand — the plaiting takes hours per bumper and no two finish identically.
