Baby Nest & Play Mat With Crib Bumper Braid - Grey

Three pieces in one — a 100 cm round play mat, a 300 cm braided bumper that wraps the perimeter, and a sleeping surface sized for a newborn. Soft grey on OEKO-TEX cotton and corduroy, fill of PU foam and silicone beads.

In the first month, the nest is where a baby sleeps between feeds with the bumper frame holding the bedding in soft shape. By three months, tummy time happens on the mat centre while the bumper acts as a visual edge — something to turn toward, something to eventually grab. By six months, sitting practice: the bumper becomes a soft wall to fall against when balance fails. By the time a baby is rolling, pulling up, and starting to crawl, the bumper folds into whatever shape a parent sets — straightened along the edge of a crib, curled into a play fort wall, looped back to a smaller nest.

The braid is hand-plaited. Each bumper takes hours to twist, and no two are identical.
