Wooden Balance Beams
A set of three wooden balance beams with four connectors.
The beams lay out in a curve, a zigzag, a straight line across a rug, or any configuration a child invents — the connectors fit to either end of any beam, so the layout rebuilds itself every time the set comes out of storage. A two-year-old walks the beams heel-to-toe with a parent's hand. A four-year-old sets up the course themselves and runs it.
Plywood construction throughout. The beams are low to the ground — a fall is a step down, not a drop. Max load 50 kg, which covers the child and an adult spotting alongside.
Five colour options. The paint is water-based and covers the beam surface without obscuring the plywood edge — the layered grain shows at the sides of every piece.
This is gross-motor equipment, not décor. The beams live in a playroom, a living-room corner, or outside on a patio in dry weather. They stack flat for storage — the whole set fits under a sofa.
