Washable Rug Colorful Lines, 140 x 200 cm

The larger format of the Colorful Lines rug — 140 × 200 cm, 1.25 cm thick, 5.23 kg — with the same multi-colour horizontal stripes and fringe on both short ends. At this size the rug anchors a full nursery floor or covers the standing area beside a child-height bed.

Pile is 97% cotton on a recycled textile-fibre base. The weight keeps it flat against the floor; the 1.25 cm pile is thick enough to pad a fall from a cot but thin enough to dry within a day of washing.

Stripes elongate a room visually, which helps in bedrooms that are deeper than they are wide. Place the short side against the cot so the lines run the length of the floor space. The fringe at each short end gives a tactile edge where a baby or toddler tends to sit.

Wash at 30°C in a 9 kg machine on gentle. No bleach, no softener. Tumble-dry low or lay flat. The cotton construction softens with each wash rather than breaking down.
