Merino wool baby blanket DELIGHT

An 85 × 95 cm baby blanket knitted in an open lace pattern from 100% fine merino wool. The lace is the point: small repeating eyelets that let air and light through, giving the blanket the weight of a summer throw rather than a winter one. It drapes softly over a pram, a car-seat, a sleeping baby on a sofa.

The yarn is 100% fine merino, OEKO-TEX certified. Merino is finer than ordinary sheep's wool — it sits against skin without the prickle, and regulates temperature across a wider range than cotton. A lace blanket in this weight works through three seasons: as a top layer in a cool nursery, as a pram cover in spring and autumn, as a light summer blanket on warm evenings.

Available in three quiet tones: Blush Pink, Creamy Beige, and Vanilla White. Each is undyed or lightly dyed to preserve the character of the fibre.

Hand-wash only in cool water with wool detergent. Lay flat to dry. The lace pattern relaxes when wet — a gentle iron on the wool setting, with the blanket still slightly damp, resets the stitches and restores the full 85 × 95 cm geometry. Treat it as a ritual rather than a chore.
