Bedside Table Kubi - White

A bedside table from the Kubi range. 45 cm wide, 40 cm deep, 50 cm tall — low enough to sit beside a Montessori floor bed, tall enough to reach from a standard mattress.

White body with solid oak legs and a solid oak handle. One door, one internal shelf — so a child's water cup sits on top, a stack of night-time books goes on the shelf, and slippers tuck underneath between the legs. The door opens on a push-to-open mechanism: no handle to grab for, which means a child who can't yet manage a latch can still reach their own things.

18 mm E1-class laminated chipboard for the body. The E1 rating caps formaldehyde emissions at a level set for rooms where people sleep. Oak legs and handle are finished with child-safe lacquer that meets EN 71-3 — the standard used on chewable toys. The oak grain stays visible through the finish.

Flat-packed with pictorial instructions. One adult, about twenty minutes. Wipe clean with a soft cloth.
